Senior technology leader Dr. Puneet Kaur Kohli has joined Liberty General Insurance as President IT & Data (CIO). Liberty General Insurance is a private general insurance company headquartered in Mumbai.
Dr. Puneet joins the firm from Universal Sompo General Insurance where she worked as the CTO for three years. Prior to that, she served as the CTO & CIO of Manappuram Finance for close to three years. She has also worked as the Group Executive Vice President IT & CTO of Bajaj Capital where she provided technology vision and leadership for the company’s IT strategy.
Dr. Puneet comes with over 25 years of experience in IT leadership across various geographies. She has worked for several leading brands such as Motorola, Reliance, Duncans, Carrier Aircon, UK Land Investments, Bharti Airtel Limited, Soma Networks and Motoricity (AT&T) across Dubai, US, UK, Canada & APAC.
Dr. Puneet is also a security evangelist with experience in Information Security, Data Privacy, Risk Management. She is a Delhi University alumnus.
