Senior technology leader Kamna Sama has joined Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions – Volkswagen Group’s own global hub for Technology products and solutions – as Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO). Kamna joins the firm from Cummins Inc. where she headed IT for the company’s Large Business division. Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions (formerly Volkswagen IT Services India) is the global in-house capability centre providing IT and technology solutions to the automaker globally.
Kamna boasts a distinguished career spanning two decades, where she has spearheaded innovation and fueled growth across a diverse range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, banking, manufacturing, IT-enabled services, telecommunications, and agriculture. Her experience lies in leveraging technology and strategic thinking to transform service delivery, product management, and business operations.
Prior to joining Cummins, a global engine manufacturer, she has a long 18-year stint at TCS and served in many key leadership roles, including being the Digital Practice Head of TCS’ global manufacturing unit.
